Synopsis

Lake Urmia in Iran was the largest lake in Middle East and the third largest saltwater lake on Earth. But it now holds only 5% of its original water and has turned into a vast salt land. The boats that had come and gone on Lake Urmia are stranded on the salt land. Soleiman is no longer able to work on a boat, and is now a farmer, but he still visits the salt land to reminisce. Skipper Soleiman portrays the landscape created by nature and human intervention, and people in it.
