Saeed Moradi

Saeed Moradi received a MA in Dramatic Literature from Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran, Iran, where he also served as the Director of Students’ Society of Dramatic Literature. With a degree in Natural Resources Engineering, Mr. Moradi’s scholarship ranges from research on Benthos Species to the dramatic aspects of tales, myths and rituals of his native Guilan. After a brief career as Independent Researcher at the Department of Fishery, Mr. Moradi followed his passion as a film critic for the online magazine CinemaCenter <http://forum.cinemacenter.ir/thread10798.html> where he wrote number of articles including “Lost highway: A study on surrealism in Cinema”, “Analyzing The Seventh Seal”, and “Once Upon a Time In Anatolia”.

Mr. Moradi is the founder of CinemaSelf <http://cspodcast.ir/>, a Podcast dedicated to exploration and analysis of the aesthetic and thematic aspects of outstanding international films. CinemaSelf has produced over a dozen episodes thus far addressing such films as Cure, No Country For Old Men, Annihilation, and Mulholland Drive. Mr. Moradi’s current enterprise is to create an educational Podcast where listeners may learn about the social and educational features in cinema.
